Sugar and Your Natural Aging Skin and Candida Causes

in Candida and Aging Skin

A significant amount of sugar consumption will stun your white blood cells for up to 6 hours after eating. With your immune system suppressed, candida and yeasts get started.  Sugar is in everything we eat today!  76 Ways Sugar is Harmful  You have to fight to avoid sugar in the mainstream, especially if you eat out a lot and do not prepare your own food. I have tackled another subject that is monstrous. But it’s near and dear to me as I have been suffering from a yeast overgrowth/candida issue PLUS mercury toxicity.  Both have been verified; but not before I figured it out myself with lots of research time and hours and spending hoards of money on the next best product. Of course this was in addition to my hormone imbalance; kind of chronicled in my Hormones series.

It ties into your aging skin because a yeast overgrowth manifests itself into rashes and athletes foot; toenail fungus and other things. Also, Sugar robs your body of the B vitamins; which plays havoc on your skin. Just so you know, a deficit of Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) can help to exaggerate those lovely lines above your upper lip!!  See my post on A Diet to Combat Aging Skin or read several articles on Digestion and Your Healthy Skin. Inflammation is a huge detriment to the health of your skin and your body – sugar causes inflammation.

I switched to MyChelle skin care; which did wonders for my skin. When I realized that my immune system had been so compromised that the additional stress I was under tipped those health scales to the wrong side…I cut everything out of my skin/health/bath routine that had any chemicals in it. MyChelle skin care fit that bill for me as it is one of the purest on the market; check their website out for more information. I got a filter for my shower to keep chlorine out of the mix while dealing with a compromised immune system.  It turned out it was a lovely thing to do for my skin and hair too.  Refer to this article for more information on shower filters and how they can help (your body absorbs chlorine; which is a hormone disruptor); and it plays havoc with your skin! Skin Health and Your Shower or Bath.

If you have been keeping up with this blog you know I have dealt with chronic pain for over 18 years. Some of the Symptoms that I thought were from my chronic pain are actually symptoms of mercury overload in my system.  Mercury also caused a really red rash on my face, neck and chest; and it was there for months and months before I found information that helped me to link the two on a very helpful website about chronic yeast problems.    If you subscribe to his newsletters; he will send you daily information. Candida and yeast overgrowth & mercury toxicity are huge subjects, to be dealt with armed with knowledge and a good health practitioner. Here is a reputable website to view on Candida and treatments.

One thing you won’t find out in the mainstream is that candida overgrowth is a by product of the heavy metal, mercury in your system. Once you understand that connection; you need to begin your health treatment with a holistic dentist. If you are in the Austin Texas area; Dr. Joan Sefcik is an amazing woman; funny and knowledgable and very matter of fact about your teeth health and the health of your body.

I found that some of these sites will give you their email addresses.  And they respond! They offer solutions and products and testing gear websites/contacts; and a personal approach as well.  That is hard to find today! I will stress again…in order to ‘take your old skin and make it better’; you need to do your research and stay away from refined sugar!
